A busy mother and her child could feel some discomfort during such a fantastic treatment. Here are some tips for being safe when nursing your baby and yourself.

For Mom:

Consume protein: Increase the amount of protein in your regular diet. A new mother need 71 grammes of protein daily. The quick sources of protein that are readily available on the market include salmon fish, chicken, eggs, and dairy products.

Green vegetables and fruits should make up a significant amount of your diet since they are the best sources of fibre. They guard the mother from cardiovascular illnesses.

Carbs: By stabilising blood sugar, carbohydrates help you get back to work or regain your strength.

Hydrate: The most crucial step after giving birth is to stay hydrated. To manufacture milk, water is the most important ingredient. Dizziness, bladder infections, among other adverse effects, might be brought on by inadequate water consumption. Remain hydrated!

Take a comfortable position when nursing. To prevent stiff shoulders, back and neck pain, adjust and switch postures in a calm manner, and walk about every few minutes. Include low-impact workouts for at least 15 minutes to help tone your muscles.

For Baby:

Avoid infections: Your newborn is especially susceptible to illnesses since their immune has been compromised for a long time. Examine the baby’s postures and encourage relaxation when breastfeeding. Being inflexible might put strain on the child’s spine. Watch out for the lower back and head, since their bones are still developing and too fragile.
